Ginger Pomelo Goat’s Milk Soap

This recipe yields one loaf of 3 lbs. Approx. 11 bars. This recipe will give you a super fat of 5%.

  • Water 18.24 oz.

  • Powdered goat milk 2 oz.

  • Lye 6.95 oz.

  • Canola 16.2 oz.

  • Olive 12.6 oz.

  • Coconut 16.8 oz.

  • Shea Butter 2.4 oz.

  • Colorant Peach & Titanium Dioxide

  • Fragrance Pomelo Melon 2.5 oz.

  • Grated Ginger 2 oz.

This is a beautiful peachy white bar with a creamy lather. It has a fresh eye opening vibrant spicy melon scent. First, mix your powdered goat milk with your water. Then add your lye. Set this aside to cool. Mix your oils. Grate your ginger to a fine as possible. Mix your oils and lye and blend with your hand mixer. Add your fragrance and ginger. Split the batch into two parts and color one-part light peach and the other with titanium dioxide. Pour the two colors together into your mold and swirl together to give your soap a beautiful design. Set this aside for 24 hours before you cut.
